Dr Bob Irving, CEO, Interstitial NanoSystems is a member of the Scientific Advisory Board for the upcoming commercial and applications based BIT Life Sciences 1st Annual International Congress of Antibody to be held in Beijing, May 22nd-24th 2009. Dr Irving will be presenting the molecular evolution and diagnostic activities entitled “The applications of antibodies to nanotechnology-based diagnostics, targeting and nanoarrays”. An article around the Interstitial NS nVac technology has been published in the October on-line edition of the journal Vaccine. The research, led by Prof Colin Pouton and Dr Paul White from Monash Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, entitled Generic construction of single component particles that elicit humoural and cellular immune responses without the need for adjuvants highlights the advantages of nanoformulated vaccines.

Dr Bob Irving of Nanotechnology Victoria Ltd (NanoVic) and Interstitial NanoSystems and Dr Shin-Hwan Wang of DR. Chip Biotechnology Inc., Taiwan have signed an MOU in Hsinchu, Taiwan for potential future activities and cross-licensing opportunities in the fields of Nano Arrays and Diagnostic Biochips.

The Interstitial NS NanoMAP product has been highlighted in an Article in the journal Industrial Pharmacy. The article Nanotechnology Advances in Drug Delivery Methods: Transdermal Delivery with Micro-array Patches gives an overview of the technology for the non-invasive delivery of nanoparticulate drugs and vaccines.
